Our first initiative, “Say No To Crackers”,2012 a door-to-door initiative to raise awareness about the hazards of burning crackers was a huge success and resulted in over 3000 children pledging their support to promote ‘Say No To Crackers’ campaign.
The second campaign, “Rise4Rice” was created with an aim to collect and distribute ‘5 Tons of Rice’ to orphanages and old-age homes and this was achieved within a span of 2 months. The effort was greatly appreciated by The Hon’ble Health Minister of Tamil Nadu.
The third social cause, “He4She” aims at spreading awareness about women’s health and wellness. We supported this cause by running a marathon with a visually challenged girl and in the process raised INR 3 lakhs.
Our latest initiative “carry your own cloth bag" which aims at obliteration of plastic bags in the state, along with other members of the organisation, has already distributed 1 lakh cloth bags for free in the city to the local vendors to eradicate plastic bags in our state.
